We believe in teaching the Movement Principles of Pilates as well as Joseph's Pilates Principles, to create a solid foundation while building your pilates practice. We also believe that proficiency should be achieved before moving to the next level. So we offer private sessions for all levels, using all forms of the pilates repertoire, to help you grow in your personal Pilates practice.

I started teaching aerobics when I was 15 years old for a woman's church group in my home town. In college, I helped teach the aerobic fitness class for my college professor while taking the class for credit. After graduating cum laude, from Dana College with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Art, I went to Midland College earning my Early Childhood degree. During this time, I started instructing aerobic classes at Golds Gym in Omaha, Nebraska and became certified through AFAA.
After college, I taught in the Millard Public School District and sold Mary Kay cosmetics while still pursuing my dream of instructing and training in the fitness industry. After my son was born, I decided it was time to pursue my hearts desire to helping others become healthy and fit through exercise. I earned my personal training certification from A.C.E. and my ministry degree from J.S.M.I.
I trained at Lifetime Fitness for three years and earned my first certification from Balance Body University in Pilates. This is where my idea of fitness changed. Pilates was a form of exercising that everyone could do and the benefits were amazing! I pursued my interest in Pilates, completed my Pilates Comprehensive certification with 500 hours and became PMA certified.
I’ve been in the industry for a little over three decades and have seen a lot of changes. The best and most exciting part of Instructing in the fitness industry is seeing lives changed when individuals like yourself commit to a lifestyle change for better health through fitness like Pilates.
I am married to my best friend, Brett, who teaches in the Westside school district and coaches football. We have an amazing son, Zane, with incredible tenacity, despite medical issues. He keeps us very busy especially with ALL-PLAY baseball in the spring and fall. I enjoy working out, learning new things, reading, painting, as well as coaching/mentoring others to reach their goals and dreams.
